Challenge Your Adrenaline in Rinjani

The Rinjani Summit is one of the most sought-after destinations in Gunung Rinjani National Park, offering breathtaking panoramic views and an unforgettable trekking challenge. To reach the peak, hikers must navigate a demanding 400-meter ascent over an "S"-shaped sandy slope and rugged terrain. The mountain is accessible via two main routes: Senaru and Sembalun gates. While the Senaru route is the most popular, it also holds deep cultural significance, as it is traditionally used by local communities for spiritual rituals at the summit and the sacred Segara Anak Lake. This crater lake, with its striking crescent-moon shape, captivates visitors with its mystical beauty and serene atmosphere.

The majestic landscapes of Mount Rinjani were shaped by volcanic eruptions, creating dramatic, ever-changing scenery. A key highlight is Mount Baru Jari, an active cone emerging from Segara Anak Lake, symbolizing nature's power of renewal. Nearby, the Otak Kokok hot spring is famed for its healing properties, with local folklore claiming the water changes color turning white if one is unwell and staying clear for the healthy.

From the challenging summit trek to the healing hot springs, Gunung Rinjani is a destination that offers awe-inspiring views, cultural richness, and geological wonders. Whether seeking adventure, relaxation, or spiritual connection, visitors will find themselves immersed in the raw beauty of this volcanic masterpiece, making it an unmissable experience in Indonesia.

  • This natural hot spring is believed to have healing properties, with local folklore claiming the water changes color depending on the visitor's health, offering a unique cultural and wellness experience.

Mount Rinjani is an incredibly impressive and beautiful volcano located on the island of Lombok, Indonesia. It`s the second-highest volcano in Indonesia.nnThe hike up Rinjani is challenging, but the views along the way and from the summit are breathtaking. Rinjani is also culturally significant to the people of Lombok, with many viewing it as a sacred mountain.nnIt`s a place that draws both adventure seekers and nature lovers. But, given its active nature–there have been eruptions in the past–it`s essential for hikers to stay updated on any volcanic activity before attempting the climb.
